Coffee, Rain and Everything in Between

 Today was one those perfect days. I got to sleep in and I spent time with people I most like being around. My sister, my little bro, my sister's boyfriend Parker, and a few others. The day started with me going to Starbucks and getting a small, iced, caramel, frappuccino. Yum. After that I went fishing. Then I ate lunch at Subway. Double yum. We danced to crazy songs in my garage, and I finished the day with sitting on my tailgate, watching the rain, and eating chicken soup with a sandwich. As Adele's "Someone Like You"  played on the radio. It was one of those perfect moments. Have you ever had one of those?  

Rain, Rain, Pouring Rain.

   Tonight I had an adventure. My friends from the neighborhood and I went to Loaf n' Jug. It was all going well until we were getting ready to leave. It started thundering and lightning. Then it started to sleet. So we decided to book it home in the dark and sleet. We all thought we could make it before it started hailing, so we ran. I had reached Guadalajara when I was ready to turn back. Just then my mom came driving up and told us all to jump in. We all piled up in our truck, and I ended up with Austin Cole on my lap. Ha ha. My hair is still wet. My mom said it was a good thing she got there because it could have easily turned into a flash flood. Though it wasn't fun at the moment, I'm laughing now. Thanks, Marissa, Dan, Austin, Nate, Haley, Parker, Annie, Ryan, Autumn, Keaton,and Perin for such an awesomely miserable time. :)  Remember, it isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain. ;)  Sincerely Madame Victory

Thank God for friends. What would we do without them?

Of course my best friend in the world is God. The cool thing about God is that He's there whenever you need to talk. You can always depend on Him.

Then there is my mommy. My best friend since before I was born. She would probably  hate this picture , but I like it. :D

My daddy is also my best friend. He is always telling us stories and making us laugh.

My sissy is my bestest friend. (I know bestest isn't a word)  She's been there since I was born. And she always took care of me. (or tried to) :)

Fun with Friends.

 This week was just plain fun. I went over to my friend Alyssa's house the other day, and she taught me how to play pool. I also learned that I stink at pool. One thing that was really funny was that Alyssa got the white ball in almost every time she shot! I almost peed my pants cause I was laughing so hard! We also played dodge ball against our brothers and one other boy. We kicked butt. But don't tell Daniel I told you that. 

   I finally watched Twilight this weekend. To tell the truth I was sort of disappointed. Plus the special effects were bad. Like the picture below, that is just weird.  I also watched a Josh Groban concert with my sister on the computer. I never knew he sounded so AMAZING live! It was wonderful.

I know the picture of him stinks but it was all I could find. Today I saw Journey 2 the Mysterious Island. It was good. :) Did I mention Josh Hutcherson is pretty cute? Ha Ha! The trailer is above. Sure it was a little cheesy but what do I care? And yes Vanessa Hudgens is annoying.  Well that's about all I have to say. What kind of fun did you have this week? - Sincerely Madame Victory ;D

Random.

This is just one random post. I felt like going crazy with the videos. Here goes! The top video is a commercial I like. Who doesn't like Cheetos?  The next one is the preview for the Avengers movie! So excited!!! It is coming out in May! Then there is a video of Taylor swift and Zac Efron doing a dance dare at the Lorax premier. The song may be awful, but it is still funny. The last video is an awesome song by Taylor Swift and the Civil Wars. It is a beautiful song that my friend Sarah, my sister, and I are trying to learn. It is called Safe and Sound. The Hunger Games

I just finished The Hunger Games series and it was WONDERFUL!!! It was the best book trilogy I've ever read by far. Everyone is soooo excited for the movie, and I really hope its not super gory. I may sound like a baby, but personally I don't like seeing peoples lives end in terrible ways. Still if the movie is good, that would be amazing! I am team Peeta for sure. What are you? My sister likes Gale better in the books and movie preview. (I think it's only because he is Chris Hemsworth's little brother in real life.) :)I am sort of excited to see Josh Hutcherson play Peeta. The first book in the trilogy was probably my favorite, but it was probably the saddest one as well. Suzanne Collins did a remarkable job of carrying on the story through the second one without boring the reader. And the third was the perfect ending for the series. I was very pleased to see that the very ending of the book did not have one of those stupid fairy tale endings. Where everybody gets exactly what they want. In a way those types are much less satisfying. It ended in a way where Katniss did not end up with the perfect life, but the book still felt complete. Well that's all for today! Happy Hunger Games! Valentine's Day!!!

     Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, my second favorite holiday, ( my first is Thanksgiving.) I love it because it's a day made just for love. You get to show your appreciation for your family and friends even more that day. Today I have been working on my valentines cards. I have to be extra creative this year, because we are mostly out of craft supplies. I can't believe that when I was little, I used to give my friends little store bought cards from the Dollar Tree! How could I have been so low? So the past few years I have  made my own, and I was really missing out all those years. So, to all you reading this, I say go all out this Valentine's Day! You can show others you love them by making them a giant card or simply by giving them an extra hug. Remember that even if nobody shows you their love this Valentine's Day, Jesus loves you, and He will never stop.   -Sincerely Madam Victory  Happy Valentine's Day! P.S. Dream Day

      Has anyone reading this ever imagined their dream day? I do, all the time. I think mine would start with a HUGE breakfast in bed with, of course, a hot mocha. If you are close to me, you may know how much I appreciate food. I don't just appreciate it, I LOVE it! These muffins looked good so I put them on here.

      After breakfast I would go shopping. I don't know about you, but I love shopping. Unless it's the kind of shopping where you don't know what your looking for. Then, I would meet the Broncos. And Tim Tebow. That would be awesome. I would finish it off with a Michael Buble concert. Anyway, that about sums up my dream day.  ( Unless suddenly the rapture happened and I got to go to heaven with Jesus! :P ) -Sincerely Madame Victory P.S. Thank you

      I just randomly wanted to thank God for life. Thanks God for my family, food, a home, clothes, my dog, and all the other little things. Thank you for life!  But most importantly thank you for giving your life for me. ( I seriously don't know where I would be without that!) I know this blog post is random, but I just felt like saying that. Oh, and thank you for nature! This year I'm learning about  Botany, and I never knew how complex plants actually are. God is amazing!  Here is a verse I found that I like: Psalm 100:4  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. War Horse

      Yesterday I went to see War Horse at the theater. It was the best movie I have seen in a long time. It was very inspirational, and I am a big fan of horses so it was defienately my kind of movie. It's the story of a boy named Albert and his horse Joey. The movie shows you  Albert raising Joey to be a very strong and beautiful horse. Then comes the terrible WW1 that destroys everything. You follow Joey as he is sent off to war.  You also follow Albert on his journey through WW1. This movie shows you the deep emotions of the the men fighting on both sides. Many of them were still mere boys. You can really feel the pain that they felt, as you are watching it,  and I have never before seen a movie that shows you that. It shows Joey pass through many different relationships on both sides, while he still searches for his first owner, Albert. All in all I give War Horse a ten... and five stars. It is a movie that everyone should see at some time in their life. To me it was the best movie of the year. P.S. the book is also good. :)  If war bothers you though, then you don't have to see it.
